DYCI2 is a library of generative musical agents combining machine learning models and generative processes in Python with reactive listening modules, audio renderers and interfaces in Max. DYCI2 agents offer a continuum of strategies going from pure autonomy to meta-composition thanks to an abstract “scenario” structure. The development of the library is deeply rooted in numerous creative projects, and one of the recent collaborations involved the composer Marta Gentilucci. She implemented DYCI2 library in her research during her Artistic Research Residency at IRCAM, a project on the voice and extended vocal techniques.
